Earlier I wrote about the alleged mercy killing of patients which occurred during hurricane Katrina. Now the Louisiana attorney general has called for an investigation into what happened to critically ill patients at Memorial Hospital in New Orleans. Apparently the situation was so dire, and the physicians weren’t able to evacuate these patients so they decided to kill their patients vs. leaving them behind alive. I will be following this case as it unfolds.
