Today the LA Times has this piece which highlights a new stem cell ethical issue that has emerged. Scientist have a bottleneck. They are ready to go on the research but they don’t have the eggs they need. What planet are they on? A new ethical issue? For years, we have been highlighting the concern that in order for this research to move forward, scientists need eggs, fresh, grade A, highquality eggs–and lots of them! Robert Lanza, of ACT, who was publically taken to the woodshed last week by Senator Arlen Specter says this, ” “We need to make a decision: Do you want the research to proceed or not?” Come on ladies. What do you say?
